Basic Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of TCP and IP protocols
• Basic knowledge of computer networking
• Basic knowledge of routing protocols to include OSPF, RIP and BGP
• Ability to operate network test equipment
• System integration experience
• Ability to to write test plans and perform analysis of test results
• Ability to show and excellent work ethic, strict attention to details, and drive for the team to be successful
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Secret or higher clearance required
• BS Degree in EE or CS
• US Citizen
Required Duties:
• The candidate will support senior staff members in the configuration and test of tactical and commercial networking equipment
• Work with senior staff members to develop test plans and procedures
• Configure routers, switches, and communications equipment
• Development of scripts to support network testing
• Replicate and resolve problems reported from the field
• Analyze test results and develop test reports
• Produce regular progress reports
Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge scripting languages
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux (Redhat, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
• Networking: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, 802.X
